George Sacerdote, a first generation American of Italian-Jewish descent, is the author of three books on this unique heritage, a family background that differs dramatically from that of most other Jewish- and Italian-Americans and is largely unrecognized in this country.
After careers in both academia and business, he has set about documenting that heritage for the benefit of future generations. He has lectured widely to a variety of audiences on the Italian-Jewish heritage and on how he has passed this heritage on to his children and grandchildren.
